I just wanted to let everyone know that I am going on vacation for a few days, and won't be back until later this week, so I won't be blogging. Just because I won't be here, doesn't mean that the political discussion can't go on. So I have decided to make this an open forum, where you can express your views on a variety of issues, or talk about local, state, and federal politics. Just make sure that you have respect when posting.
Here are a few ideas to jump start the discussion: the 2007 Election, the Murphy-Cappiello race (here's an article you might find interesting), and of course the race for President. Feel free to talk about other topics as well (gee -- how about those Yankees), and don't be afraid to analyze different races. If this works well, then maybe I'll do so more Open Forums in the future. It's up to you.

Well, what do you people feel about the upcoming election? Boughton will probably win but that might not be a very good thing.
I don't want to vote for Helena just to prevent Boughton from winning. I honestly don't know what would be worse - the evils are so different in comparison. I'll sit out this elelction and see what happens.

No one should sit out an election, not voting is the worst decision. Can Helena do worse than Boughton? Of course. I'm leaning towards Boughton but I think it will be a closer race than most expect.

If they pitch well and consistent, the starting pitching is decent and the offense is strong it will be very hard not to see the Yankees come October.
Maybe as a wild card. The redsox have the best pitching in the MLB and a decent lineup. Also they are up 5.5 with only a month and a half left with the easiest sched. left out of any team
