NC & IN Primary Results

Obama,
Clinton
Split

He could of done better, but he did pretty darn good. Barack Obama scored a nice fourteen percent win over Hillary Clinton in North Carolina. Helped by a strong African American vote, Obama won by a big margin. This victory because of its size is really a very big disappointment for Hillary Clinton. Here were the results:
Obama: 56%
Clinton: 42%
In Indiana, many thought Hillary Clinton could win by high single digits, despite being a close race for the last few weeks. Clinton managed a win by just two percent, not nearly as good as she would of liked. Here were the results:

Clinton: 51%
Obama: 49%

So now what? Well, Clinton says she is not leaving the race until the Democratic nominee is selected. She should win West Virginia on Tuesday, and might close the delegate gap slightly by the end of the month. However, I believe it will take a miracle and a lot of good luck for her to be the nominee. Anything is possible, but Obama is the closest he has ever been at taking on John McCain one on one.
