Boughton Goes To McCain

Mayor Boughton has now endorsed John McCain for President. You can read it here on his blog.

Boughton served as co-chairman of Mitt Romney's campign in our state. However, Romney left the race on Thursday. With his departure, Boughtn has now gone to the all but official Republican nominee.

The mayor had the following to say about Senator McCain:

"He is American hero. I don't agree with everything he stands for but in general, I believe he will make an outstanding President."
With McCain the likely nominee, it should be interesting to see how competetive he is in our state. I do believe it will be much closer than it has been in the past few elections.

Stop!!! Who cares about what Boughton thinks! He was Co-Chair of Romney's camp. in CT and couldn't even win in Danbury. Lets look at the Democratic leaders in Danbury and their endorsement of Clinton as Danbury was the biggest city she carried in the state. This site hangs on Boughton's every move and it is annoying. Try being at leats a little objective sometimes. Maybe like pointing out how starnge it was that something was voted on that didn't need to be to be enforced like teh ICE access program. No but that would be too tough to do with your buddy Mark Boughton, what a loser

I agree, there are how many other election and appointed officials in this town, but it's still all Mark Mark Mark. See what someone else in this city of 80,000 are doing.
